A Peak is Not a Crest

The river peaked at 40.82 feet and at the moment has dropped to 40.44 feet. But they say a peak is not a crest. There is a possibility that the river could still start rising again. Especially with the snow storm we are suppose to get on Monday. We're not out of the woods yet, but things are looking up. We still have about a week of staying vigilant and keeping constant watch over the walls and the pumps to make sure they stay put. Here are a few pictures from today.
